In their Scotland estate distillery The Macallan utilizes exclusively grown Minstrel barley and onsite soft spring water for the foundation of their “new make” spirit. Long wood aging in Spanish and American oak casks contribute to the rich, fruity, full-bodied pour so characteristic of The Macallan name.
